An Environmentally Friendly Alternative

Elkay introduces new bottle filling stations now with R-290, a sustainable alternative to other refrigerants. It has a negligible global warming potential (GWP) rating, zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and can reduce overall energy costs by as much as 28%.

How is this possible? R-290 contains thermodynamic properties that minimize energy consumption, thus reducing electricity costs. Although it uses less energy and results in a 40% reduction in refrigerant charge, it performs as well as other refrigerants!
